Duck Life 2: World Champion

Duck Life 2: World Champion is a training-and-racing browser game by Wix Games where you raise a duck through four disciplines — running, flying, swimming, and climbing — then compete in tournaments across a series of increasingly tough locations until you claim the title. It first appeared on Shockwave and spread to portals like Miniclip and Cool Math Games, where it became a staple on school computers for a generation of players.

Each session splits between two phases. In the training mini-games you build your duck’s stats one event at a time: jump logs in the running course, thread gaps in the flying event, steer through underwater hazards, or dodge falling debris in the climbing shaft. When you’re ready, you enter a tournament — four races where your accumulated stats go head-to-head against AI opponents. Beat the tournament to unlock the next location and inch closer to the World Championship.

Controls

Controls change depending on which training event is active:

  • Running: Space or Up arrow to jump over obstacles.
  • Flying: Hold Up arrow to gain altitude; release to descend.
  • Swimming: Up and Down arrows steer your duck through the lanes.
  • Climbing: Left and Right arrows to dodge rocks and debris falling from above.

During actual races your duck runs on its own — the outcome is decided by the stats you have built in training, not by button presses during the race.

Tips

  • Work on your weakest stat before each tournament; a balanced duck consistently outperforms a specialist at mid-game locations.
  • Buy food from the shop between tournaments — higher stamina means longer training sessions and faster overall stat gains.
  • The climbing event levels up the slowest; start training it early rather than leaving it for last.
  • If a tournament opponent keeps beating you, do more training sessions instead of re-entering immediately — stat gains compound quickly.
