FNAFSurvive five nights as the security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza — manage cameras and limited power to keep the animatronics out until 6 AM.
FNAF
Five Nights at Freddy’s puts you in the security office of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a family restaurant that locks up at midnight — and gets considerably less family-friendly after that. Your job is to watch a network of cameras and keep the building’s four animatronic mascots out of your office until 6 AM. They are not shy about trying. Bonnie comes from the left, Chica from the right, and Foxy lurks behind a curtain in Pirate Cove, ready to sprint if you ignore him. Freddy waits, watches, and usually moves when you have stopped watching.
The catch is that every defence costs power. Switching camera feeds, holding the door lights on, keeping a door sealed — all of it draws from a battery that does not recharge. Running out before dawn cuts your lights and triggers Freddy’s approach regardless of where everyone else is. So the real game is not just “keep the monsters out” — it is rationing limited resources across five increasingly hostile nights, where later shifts see the animatronics moving faster and giving you less time to react.
Controls
The entire game is mouse-driven:
- Click the camera tablet (bottom centre of the screen) to open the security feed
- Click numbered camera buttons to switch between rooms and hallways
- Click the door buttons on the left and right walls to seal the office exits
- Click the light buttons next to each door to check the adjacent hallway before opening or closing
- Click outside the camera panel, or click the lower screen, to return to the office view
On mobile, tap in place of click. The layout was designed for a mouse, so a larger screen or stylus makes the buttons easier to hit accurately under pressure.
Tips
- Check the light before you close a door. A closed door drains power constantly. If nothing is there, keep it open — every second counts toward 6 AM.
- Rotate through the cameras. Freddy advances when he is off-camera and unobserved. A quick sweep of the full map every 20-30 seconds helps track everyone and slows his movement.
- Watch Pirate Cove early. If Foxy’s curtain opens and the stage empties, close the left door and wait for the thud. He moves fast and gives very little warning.
- Conserve power on the final stretch. The clock runs slower near 5 AM. Use as few systems as possible in those last minutes — passive watching costs nothing; lights and doors cost everything.
