ColorUp is a high-speed vertical platformer where precision timing and quick reaction determine how high you can climb. Players navigate a bouncing character up a tower of moving platforms, dodging gaps and ascending as fast as possible to set a new personal record before a single misstep sends you falling back to the start.
Each vertical session ramps up in speed as you climb higher into the sky. With mobile platforms, narrow landing spots, and dynamic hazards constantly testing your focus, keeping your momentum without overshooting jumps becomes the core challenge of every run.
Controls
ColorUp supports keyboard controls on desktop as well as touch inputs on mobile devices:
- Left / Right Arrows or A / D: Move your character horizontally.
- Spacebar or Up Arrow: Jump upward onto higher platforms.
- Touch / Tap (Mobile): Tap the left or right side of the screen to steer, and swipe up or tap to jump.
Climbing Tips & Strategies
- Look One Tier Ahead: Keep your eyes slightly above your character so you can anticipate moving platform patterns before landing.
- Use Short Taps for Tight Landings: Avoid holding movement keys too long on narrow platforms to prevent sliding off the edges.
- Stay Centered: Reaching the vertical center of the screen gives you the maximum reaction time for upcoming hazards on both sides.
