Hole ioSteer a growing black hole through a city block, swallowing objects and rival players to rack up the most mass in a two-minute match.
Hole io
Hole.io drops you into a top-down view of a city block where you control a small black hole. Move over objects — benches, lampposts, parked cars, trees — that are small enough to fall in, and eating them makes you grow. A bigger hole can swallow bigger things, so the size progression is fast once it starts: mid-game holes pull in buses, and the largest consume entire buildings in a single pass.
Other players’ holes share the map, and any hole larger than yours can swallow you whole. That threat shapes every decision. In the opening minute, staying near smaller objects in quieter corners is safer; once you have real size, hunting rival holes is worth the risk. Matches run about two minutes, and your score is total mass consumed — not survival time, so aggression pays once you can back it up.
Controls
- Mouse: move your cursor to guide the hole across the map
- Mobile / Tablet: tap and drag to steer
Tips
- Open on the smallest nearby objects — benches and mailboxes before cars — to size up quickly without overreaching.
- Check the minimap. Any hole that looks larger than yours is a threat worth circling around until you match its size.
- Side streets and corners accumulate objects that big holes overlook. Use them to grow without contested competition early on.
- Once you reach mid-size, swallowing a smaller rival hole scores more mass than chasing a row of lampposts.
Hole.io suits short sessions — the two-minute timer keeps each round crisp whether you want one game or ten back-to-back.
