3 Slices is a clean, physics-driven puzzle game where precision cutting dictates whether shapes stay put or tumble out of view. Each level presents a static arrangement of geometric structures—primarily red and blue blocks—and grants you a strict budget of three straight cuts. Your goal is to carve away the red material so gravity pulls enough of it off the lower boundary of the screen to meet the stage clear target.
Success relies heavily on momentum and weight distribution. A single slice across a large red tower might split it into top-heavy pieces that slide away on their own, while slicing a blue anchor block could ruin the leverage needed to nudge remaining pieces off. Because cuts are permanent and limited, every attempt becomes a small calculation in physics, angles, and friction.
Controls
Drawing a line across any object on the screen executes a clean slice:
- Mouse (Desktop): Left-click and drag across shapes to set your cut line, then release to make the slice.
- Touchscreen (Mobile & Tablet): Swipe your finger across shapes to draw the slicing path.
Clearing Tricky Puzzles
- Target the Center of Mass: Diagonal cuts high up on a red structure create angled ramps, helping top halves slide off effortlessly under gravity.
- Leverage Blue Blocks: Blue shapes provide weight and stability. Use them as fulcrums or backstops to push red fragments sideways rather than trapping them.
- Slice Moving Pieces: You do not have to wait for objects to come to a full stop before making your second or third cut. Timing a slice mid-fall can alter a piece’s trajectory.
