Awesome Tanks 2 is a top-down tank combat game where you steer your armored vehicle through a series of battle levels, eliminating every enemy tank before the exit opens. The view is bird’s-eye, the movement is precise, and the levels grow steadily more punishing — early maps pit you against slow, predictable units, later ones throw faster tanks with better aim at angles that cut off your retreat.
Between levels you land at the armory, where the coins your enemies dropped turn into upgrades. A faster engine helps you dodge. Heavier plating keeps you in the fight. New weapon types — flamethrower, laser, rail gun — change how you approach enemies entirely. Deciding which upgrades to buy first, given what the next map demands and how you like to play, is as much the game as the shooting itself.

Tips
- Keep moving. A stopped tank clusters enemy fire and gives you no escape route.
- Upgrade engine speed and armor before firepower — staying alive on early levels matters more than killing fast.
- Use walls as cover: engage one enemy at a time and break line-of-sight with the rest.
- Save coins for a weapon-type upgrade rather than small stat boosts if your current gun feels underpowered.
