Guide Math Duck through timed platformer stages, collecting numbered tiles in equation order to unlock the exit key before time runs out.

Math Duck

Math Duck is a fast-paced puzzle platformer that blends mental arithmetic with quick-reaction movement. Playing as a determined duck navigating single-screen stages, your objective is to solve the target equation displayed at the top of the board before grabbing the key to unlock the exit door. Every stage operates under a tight countdown clock, forcing you to think fast and move even faster.

What makes Math Duck engaging is the balance between spatial planning and speed. Before picking up tiles, you must map out the correct mathematical sequence: collecting numbers in the wrong order invalidates your attempt and forces a level reset. Once you initiate your run, precise jumps over platforms and hazards must be executed without hesitation to beat the clock.

Controls

  • A / D or Left / Right Arrow: Move left and right
  • W, Up Arrow, or Spacebar: Jump
  • R: Instantly restart the current level
  • Touch Controls: Use the on-screen directional arrow buttons and jump icon on mobile devices

Strategies for Clearing Stages

  • Plan the path before moving: Study the target equation at the top of the screen before taking your first step. Calculate the required order of operations so you don’t waste precious seconds backtracking.
  • Mind the countdown timer: Time limits are short on every level. If you hesitate midway through a run, hit R to restart immediately rather than burning seconds on a doomed attempt.
  • Precision over rushing: Over-jumping or slipping off platforms often results in touching spikes or taking the wrong tile. Time your jumps cleanly to collect tiles in a single smooth loop.
