Controls
The entire game is controlled using your mouse or touch screen. Click or tap on a seed packet to select a plant, and then tap an empty grid square on your lawn to plant it. You also need to click or tap on the falling sun icons to collect them for your economy.
Tips that actually help
- Sunflowers are essential: Always plant at least two columns of Sunflowers at the back of your lawn early in the game. A strong economy is critical for surviving the final waves.
- Symmetry isn’t mandatory: While it looks nice, do not waste sun trying to mirror your defenses if one lane is under heavy attack. Focus your resources where the zombies are thickest.
- Save your explosives: Keep Cherry Bombs or Jalapenos in reserve for emergencies. They are perfect for taking out tight clusters of tough zombies or clearing a lane that is about to be breached.
- Use cheap blockers: Wall-nuts are cheap and buy you vital time. Drop them in front of your most valuable attackers to keep them firing longer.
