Shell Shockers is a multiplayer first-person shooter that runs entirely in the browser — no download, no account required. Every player on the map is an egg armed with one of several weapon classes: the EggK-47 assault rifle, the Crackshot sniper, the Whipper submachine gun, the Scrambler shotgun, the Free Ranger designated marksman rifle, or the RPEGG rocket launcher. You choose a class before dropping in, and that choice shapes every engagement you take.

Matches are fast and punishing in the best way. Free For All puts every egg against every other; Teams splits the lobby into two sides; Captula the Spatula is the mode’s capture-the-flag variant. Ammo replenishes from supply crates and from defeated opponents, which makes aggressive play more sustainable than camping — a round spent holding one corner tends to mean running dry at the worst moment. The egg theme is deliberately absurd, but the hit registration and movement feel sharp enough to keep competitive players coming back.

Controls

  • W A S D — move
  • Mouse — aim
  • Left click — shoot
  • Right click — aim down sights
  • Spacebar — jump
  • Shift — crouch
  • R — reload
  • E — swap weapon

Tips

  • Reload after every kill, before the next fight starts — being caught mid-reload is the most avoidable way to lose an engagement.
  • Match your class to the map layout. Open maps with long sightlines suit the Crackshot; tighter interiors favour the Scrambler or Whipper.
  • Right-click ADS slows your movement but tightens accuracy at range. Hip-fire at close quarters — it is faster than the ADS transition.
  • In team modes, adjust your positioning based on the opposing classes. A Crackshot angle that is covered from behind is useless if the next threat is a Scrambler in the doorway.

Shell Shockers suits players who want a competitive FPS they can load in a tab and play in short sessions. Rounds are quick enough for a five-minute break and varied enough that the class system stays interesting well past the first hour.
