Hunter Assassin 2 is a top-down stealth game where you control a lone assassin slipping through levels packed with armed guards. The goal is simple: take out every guard before they spot you. Step into the wrong patch of light, linger too long in the open, or misjudge a guard’s patrol path and a single bullet ends the run.

What makes it work is the pacing. Guards move in readable patterns and the levels are compact enough that you can read the whole situation before committing to a move. Success comes from patience — waiting in shadow until a guard’s back is turned, closing the distance fast, and choosing the order of takedowns carefully so you are never caught between two threats. Getting that sequence right and chaining eliminations cleanly is exactly as satisfying as it sounds.

Controls

Mouse: Click anywhere on screen to move your assassin to that point.
Touch: Tap to direct your character.

Your assassin travels automatically to the spot you select. Short, precise clicks give you far more control than committing to a distant target — especially in tight corridors.

Tips

  • Eliminate isolated guards first. Work from the edges inward. Taking out a guard who patrols away from the group reduces the chance that one kill alerts the others.
  • Watch the full patrol cycle before moving. A guard mid-turn can look like they are facing away but will be looking straight at you in a moment. Wait for them to commit fully to their direction.
  • Use walls and cover as fallback. Obstacles break sightlines. Staying near them gives you somewhere to retreat if a guard turns at the wrong moment.
  • Click in small steps through open ground. One short click at a time lets you pause and reassess — a single long click across open terrain is the most common way to walk into a guard’s view.
