Basket Random
Basket Random is a one-button basketball game built entirely around unpredictability. Each player controls a ragdoll character with a single key — W for player one, the Up Arrow for player two — and that one key does everything: run at the ball, jump, attempt the shot. The physics engine decides what actually happens, and the results vary wildly every press. Score a point and the court resets to something completely different: the lighting changes, the characters redesign themselves, the floor might tilt or shrink. First to reach the target score wins.
The chaos is the point, not a flaw. Basket Random works best with someone sitting beside you — local 2-player mode turns it into a running argument about who is actually skilled, and the honest answer is always “the game is random.” Single-player against the AI is fine for getting comfortable with the one-button rhythm before a real opponent sits down, but the game was clearly designed for the side-by-side version.

Tips
- Watch the ball, not your character. Your character moves toward the ball on its own — what matters is pressing at the moment they can connect. Time it to the ball’s position, not to instinct.
- Stay near center court. Chasing the ball deep into your opponent’s half leaves you stranded when it bounces back the other way. Center position lets you react to wherever it lands.
- Don’t try to block. There is no dedicated block action — the single button only makes your character leap. Charging toward your opponent’s shot usually opens a lane for them rather than stopping the point.
